Larger projects start with a written estimate of the hours for each stage, invoiced monthly with a time report. Smaller, well-defined tasks such as an evidence review can be quoted as a fixed price.
An evidence review usually takes one to two weeks. A full manuscript takes about four to six weeks from receiving the data to a submission-ready paper, plus journal review time.
